Brush review: Too Faced Teddy Bear Hair Brush Set!

I recently went to Hawaii on holiday for a week! I'm sure I don't need to explain how exciting that is, for the makeup hauls alone. Sadly, here in New Zealand, as makeup loving kiwis know all too well, makeup is ridiculously expensive compared with the US and the brands that are easily accessible here are slim.

One of the first things on my list to get were the Too Faced Teddy Bear Hair brushes that I had heard so much about, and seen so many photos of with their baby pink cuteness.

I have tried a ridiculous amount of different makeup brushes and brands before, but these have to be among my favorites so far.

In the set, you get a total of 5 brushes and a makeup bag. 1x powder brush, 1x blending fluff brush, 1x angled eyeshadow brush, 1x small crease brush and 1x angled eyeliner / brow brush. And the price is right. $65USD for 5 brushes and a bag? What a deal.

These brushes are so insanely soft, light and fluffy. Unlike some other brands I have tried they just glide lightly over your skin and never feel prickly, abrasive, or heavy like they are dragging across your face.

And they wash up amazingly too! This is the part where I find some brushes which initially seem great, can fall down. I clean and care for my brushes as though they are tiny, fragile, living creatures. No exaggeration. And yet still so many makeup brushes start shedding like crazy at this point. I didn't notice a single hair being shed from this set when I washed them. I also didn't have any problems with the brushes staining from bright eyeshadows.

They pick up the right amount of product you need and I notice less, to no fall out with them. The big fluffy face brush disperses powder nice and evenly over your face, giving an airbrushed looking finish.

And...they look great too. Baby pink handles with gold ferrules? Yes, please. If the amazing quality isn't enough to sell you on them, for the aesthetic pleasure alone you should be sold.

The. Bag. Is. Adorable. Pink + Gold +Teddy bear zipper = ♥ ♥ ♥ It's the perfect size for a handbag makeup bag, for touch ups during the day.

This would be a perfect set for a beginner, with all of the basic brushes you need, or anyone just looking for an amazing, good quality brush set.
