May 2016 Empties

I have been making a conscious effort this month to try and use up as many of my half empty products as possible, including LE Christmas products that I was still working through. I am a bit of a hoarder and decided that before I buy anything else, I need to use up some of what I have! Here are my monthly empties.

Skincare:

LUSH Herbalism Fresh Facial Cleanser: This is made with 100% natural ingredients and is meant to help with spots, grease and to help calm troubled skin. I got this because I was going through a really bad stage with my skin and breaking out quite badly. I think this really did help to calm it down and prevent any more breakouts. If you've never used or seen this before, it comes as a big firm lump of product and you pinch a piece off and mix into a paste with water. I also love Angels on Bare Skin, also by Lush and the same kind of concept. Would I repurchase? Yes.

Bossy Cosmetics Charcoal and Clay Facial Bar: I've gone through quite a few of these bars because I am continually impressed with them. This is another product that really helps me when my skin is breaking out and definitely makes a big difference in controlling oil. Would I repurchase? Yes.

LUSH Love Lettuce Fresh Face Mask: It did make me look like a swamp monster, but it did a good job. I used this about 3 times a week at the same time that I was using Herbalism and the combo worked quite well. The only con - it only lasts for 3 weeks before it expires. But if you use it religiously, you'll get through it by then. Would I repurchase? Yes.

Hair products:

Batiste Dry Shampoo in the scents Blush and Wild: I've talked about these so many times now! This is for sure my holy grail dry shampoo. Both scents are really nice, Blush is nice and fresh smelling and Wild is a little warmer smelling. I use these just about every day. Not just as a dry shampoo as such, but to give my hair more volume. Definitely an essential product for me. Would I repurchase? Forever!

Body products:

Bossy Cosmetics Candy Cane Emulsified Scrub: This smelt AMAZING! Like actual candy canes. Perfect for a nice soft subtle scrub (their coffee scrub is the best if you want more intense exfoliation). This was, as the name suggests a Christmas item and I'm really hoping they will bring it back again this Christmas! (Note: they do have other emulsified scrub flavours/scents though!) Would I repurchase? If I get the chance, absolutely!

Victorias Secret Sexy Little Things Noir Body Lotion: Ok, I bought this literally 3 years ago. I know. I hoard body lotions like crazy and then hardly ever get through one because I alternate so much. But the consistency and the scent was fine, so even though it was old I kept using it. Why not? It smells really nice and there is a matching perfume, so it's perfect for layering your scent. It's not super moisturising, but I think the main purpose of these perfume lotions is for the scent anyway. Would I repurchase? I like it, but I also like to change up my lotions, so I probably wouldn't repurchase, but I would recommend it!

I think this was a relatively good attempt at using a few things up! See you next month with (hopefully) a ton more as I keep at it on this mission!
