Last week a suuuper doooper exciting package landed on my doorstep! When I was in Hawaii at the end of last year, I managed to get my hands on some of the first MAC x Patrick Starrr collab, which I loved, so I'm so excited that there have been further collabs, and that I'm lucky enough to get to try some of this latest one! I wanted to get this post out as soon as possible, because these products will only be available for 2 weeks (until June 29th) from Farmers.
The Heat Stroke Eyeshadow Quad* has the most beautiful pigmented summery shades. Obviously, it's winter here in NZ, but who cares! I've never really been one to wear makeup based on the season, and instead just wear whatever I feel like depending on my mood. And what a way to brighten up this dreary weather we've been having! The shadows are all smooth and buttery, particularly the shades Sandy Crotch, Brash, and Mabuhay. I like how you get two matte shades, and two shimmery/metallic shades, so you can create a few different looks out of it. See below for swatches!
The second product I received is the Fashion Punch Lipglass*. This is a nice pale peachy shade, with a super fine shimmer running through it. It doesn't feel too heavy or sticky on the lips and smells DELICIOUS. I will never get sick of that amazing sweet vanilla smell MAC lip products have! See the swatch below.

I have to say, this photo doesn't do the second and third shades (Ruddy and Brash) justice at all. In person, they are much more rich and metallic looking. Unfortunately, I'm not working with the most amazing camera here, so it doesn't quite pick up that richness.
These two products are available as a part of a set which also includes the Cream Pie Lipglass, and the Give Me Life Bronzing Powder. The set is $142.00, which I think is an amazing price for all of that.
Also in the collection but available to purchase separately, is the Hot and Heavy face powder for $66.00.
