Recently, I was invited to go along to the Smith & Caugheys Spring/Summer preview. The buyers did an amazing job of curating the new season collection and had everything from new beauty, fashion, and homeware - I'm even more excited for Summer now! Keep reading to see what my must-haves are.
This new lipstick system by Guerlain is such a cool concept - you pick your lipstick shade and then pick a lid to go with it. Then you can reuse the lid after you use the lipstick up. They have lots of fun patterns to pick from. The lid also flips open to a mirror. How handy! I am obsessed with shade No. 62 for Spring and Summer. This would also make an amazing gift for the beauty lover in your life (did you know there are only 7 more Sundays until Christmas?).
Foreo Luna 3
Foreo is a great brand which specialise in making skin cleansing devices, which I'm sure you've heard of before. They are now being stocked at Smith & Caugheys! Did you know that every 3 seconds a Foreo Luna is sold somewhere around the world? That's amazing. But trying it, I can see why. They're a great way to gently exfoliate your skin, and give it a deep clean, without being too rough (remember the Clarasonic craze? I always felt like brush bristles were just too rough for your skin. These little silicon pieces are super gentle and much more hygienic). I have the Foreo Luna Mini 2, which I highly recommend.
The Ascent Series Limited Edition Copper Blender is amazing! The lovely lady at the launch made me a delicious smoothie with it from a recipe book that comes with it. You can use the blender for everything from making soup, grinding up coffee beans, etc. (really, I'm just imagining all of the summer cocktail options *heart eyes*). With everything it can do, it is well worth the investment (and just think how much you'll save making your own smoothies). It will also look super stylish in your kitchen with its copper metal finish.
Calvin Klein is one of my favourite brands and their new swimwear caught my eye immediately. The bright orange just screams summer! They also have swimwear options in black if bright colours aren't your thing, which are just as stylish. Grab a matching CK beach towel, and you're good to go!
What's better than gin? Gin that changes colour! How cool is this? Blueblood Gin starts off blue, as you can see, and morphs into that pretty purple shade when you add tonic water to it. Super pretty, super summery, super delicious, (super insta-worthy). I am definitely keen to spend summer afternoons in the sun sipping this.
