L'Oreal SCULP Range Review and Swatches

As a part of L'Oreal's latest product launch, they came out with some awesome new sculpting products, including the Infallible Sculpt Contouring Palettes and the Blush Sculpt Trio Contouring Blushes.

Infallible Sculpt Contouring Palettes* RRP: $33.99 These are cream palettes which each contain a highlight shade and a contour shade. I used the 01 Light palette, which has the perfect contour shade for light skin - not too brown or orange as some contour shades can be. The formula is really nice and easy to blend out and the colour can be built up. I tried this out for a daytime look, so I used it relatively lightly to get a more natural daytime appropriate finish. You could build it up more for an even more sculpted look for nighttime. Some cream products can be too dry to get a nice blended airbrushed finish, but that wasn't a problem with this product at all. The highlight shade complemented the contour shade quite nicely and also blended out well. This is the first cream contour product I have ever tried so I was worried it was going to turn out badly, but this is a super easy product to work with. I would go so far as to say fool proof!

The first two shades are from the 01 Light palette and the second two shades are from the 03 Medium/Dark palette.

Blush Sculpt Trio Contouring Blush* RRP: $31.99 These might be my favourite products from this launch (or maybe the Infallible Fixing Mist - I've just about gotten through my bottle already, I've been using it just about every day since I got it!). I was actually quite surprised at how they looked on my skin, compared to how I thought they would look. I am quite pale, and so I thought that the shades might be too intense on me. But, they are actually quite sheer and buildable and weren't too intense at all. At the launch, we were told by Lisa Matson, Makeup Artist for L'Oreal, that you can either wear them layered, as in the darkest shade at the bottom, then the middle shade and the lightest as a highlight, or you can mix them all together. I have tried both ways and my favourite for everyday, is to mix them all together for a nice healthy glow, but for a more sculpted look, I would definitely layer them up.

The first three shades pictured are from the 201 Soft Rosy Trio and the second three shades are from the 102 Nude Beige Trio.

Have you picked up anything from L'Oreals latest launch yet? Are you going to?
