The Spring Edit '16

Now spring is here, I thought I would share with you my favourite beauty products for this season! Keep reading to find out what my top picks are and why.

L'Oreal Paris Nude Magique Cushion* RRP $33.99: I have done a full review on this before, which you can see  here. This is the perfect foundation for spring time, because it is super light weight, feels fresh and looks luminous on the skin. It is also super quick and easy to apply.

Collection Cosmetics Gorgeous Glow Blush Block* RRP $16.99: This is one of my new favourite highlighters. With its gorgeous floral shades and pretty shimmer it is perfect for spring. You can either use it with all of the shades mixed together, or you can use them separately. They also make great eyeshadows.

L'Oreal Paris La Vie En Rose collection lipsticks* in Naomi (swatch one) and Julianne (swatch two) RRP $23.99: These two lipsticks are super pretty floral shades, with the same amazing rich creamy formula I've come to know and love from L'Oreal's Color Riche lipsticks. The other shades in this collection are also gorgeous.

Collection Cosmetics Lasting Colour Lipstick in Taffeta Bloom* (swatch three) RRP $16.50: Another beautiful floral shade perfect for spring. Also a great smooth formula. Collection Cosmetics are now available from Countdown and just got new packaging - their products now all come on colour coded backing cards, with tips and tricks from makeup artists.

L'Oreal Paris Supergraphic Pops by Color Riche Le Vernis* in POP CORN, CLOUD WOW and PINK O POP RRP $9.99: The formula of these nail polishes are absolutely amazing and definitely up there with the likes of Essie and OPI. I also never thought that I would find a nail polish brush that could compete with the OPI pro wide one, but these are a great size and apply the polish easily and perfectly. It still amazes me that they are only $9.99 a bottle. Definitely a steal.

Essano Roseship Certified Organic Mist Toner RRP $10 approx: This feels super refreshing on the skin and leaves my skin feeling much more hydrated. You can spritz it straight onto freshly cleansed skin, or during the day as a pick me up. Another thing I particularly like about this product is how it has a super fine spray, so it doesn't leave big wet drips on your face like some other similar products do. Check out the other products from Essano too - I have recently been trying out their new Argan shampoo and conditioner and it is working really well for my dry hair. Let me know if you would like to see a review on those later on too!

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Floral* RRP $12.99 : By now, it should come as no surprise at all that my favourite dry shampoo is Batiste. I don't think I've ever done an empties post without a bottle or two. It is definitely my go to hair product, so I always get excited when new scents come out. This one smells so nice. It is a nice fresh floral scent, as the name would suggest. Perfect for this time of year.

Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk RRP $22.99: I don't know about you, but winter has left me super dry and pasty looking. This is my favourite no fuss product for getting a light tan and keeping my skin soft and moisturised. Because it is a tanning milk, you don't get any crazy tan lines and uneven patches like you can if you're not careful with more instant tans. Another way I like to use this product is when I use the tanning mousse (which develops into a full tan in a few hours). This is a great follow up product to prolong the result.

What are your spring picks? Let me know below!
