Movie Round Up: The Best Of 2019

Happy New Year! 2019 was a big year for movies, so I have done a round-up of all of my favourites. This probably isn't an exhaustive list, and I will most likely remember a ton more that should be on this list, but these ones are what comes straight to mind when I think about the best movies of '19.

Movie Review - Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

I think it would be fair to say I'm a bit biased when it comes to these movies, having been a fan of Jurassic Park since I was a kid. Who else will never forget the dreaded sound of that satellite phone ringtone? *shudder*. But with that in mind, here's what I thought.

Movie Review - Annabelle: Creation

Why is it that dolls are so creepy? At least this one anyway. Annabelle: Creation is the second Annabelle movie, which as the name suggests is the prequel. The bad news is, if you've seen the first Annabelle and the Conjuring movies, you've basically seen this too. This is the same game, with new players.

Movie Review: War For The Planet Of The Apes

I have been a Planet of the Apes fan for as long as I can remember. I think I wouldn't have even been over 5 when I first saw the original movies. We used to have an old box set of videos (yes videos - do kids these days even know what they are?), that I watched so many times. I remember being SO disappointed when one day I kept watching one of the videos past the credits and saw the "Making Of" documentary and found out that the apes were really people dressed up. I did have my suspicions, but I could ignore them until I saw that.

What To Watch - New Movies This Month! May '17

I'm a huge movie fan, so it makes sense that now I'm expanding the blog into more lifestyle related content as well as beauty (of course), to include movie content! You might have seen me post the odd movie review in the past, which is now going to become a regular thing. Over the past few weeks, I have gone along to a few movie screenings (thanks 20th Century Fox NZ!), and I've got a run down of each one here for you.
